Ordered this and received it within a week, which was no problem. The helmet itself: Fit is as advertised. My head measures 59cm around and this was made for 59-60cm. No problems there. Chinstrap works well, but is pretty much cinched all the way in for my chin. Maybe an M would have been better? Release is very easy. Shield is good and the sunshield is novel. I'm used to having one on the inside of the helmet, but this one flips up on the outside, above the shield. It comes with a clear shield, which is fine. My big issue here is how much work goes into taking off and replacing a shield. You will need to carry an allen wrench and prying tool if you want to change shields on the fly. Not a simple push-button process. Helmet definitely has a lot of air flowing through and requires earplugs if you want to hear your engine while riding. Best part? The glasses slits. I wear glasses and am happy to be able to put them on with this helmet. Can't put the helmet on with them on, but slip in.

Most powerful RF lifting device.
Most powerful RF device! Once ON , RF Moisture penetrating & Ems lifting function & Red Led light function will all work together. It has 3 level . For the RF function to work properly, there must be liquid on the skin. Only clear liquid or clear gel will work. Creamy cream or lotion is not workable ! You can also apply a sheet of mask on the face then use the RF device to roll & work on the face. You should feel a tingling electric sensation when RF device is working. Level 2 is the maximum I can withstand! Super powerful & effective!! Immediate result after using! Compare ( Beautytools facepump) & ( Yaman 10T ) on each half of my face. 1)( Yaman 10T ) is a very good all in one RF device with cleansing , moisture, Ems lifting , Red led light , cold cooling function . There is a ring to hold the cotton pad to do the cleaning . 2) ( Beautytools Facepump) is the winner on RF Lifting function. This device can reach difficult area around the corner nose too!

Good product, enjoyable experience
I bought these glasses for my parents. My parents are now staying in Japanfor a short period of time. One day, my mother found that her glasses lost a small pad supporting her glasses on her nose. It is very difficult to buy a new pad that fits her glasses. We decided to buy two new pairs of glasses for my mother and father. After comparison, we selected this type of glasses. They came out to be perfect. They are made of light materials. The vision is sharp clear. Most of all, we don't have to worry about the pad any more because the part is integrated within the product. The product is perfect.

So far so good
It fits nicely. It turns off and on when I open and close the cover as advertised. The buttons all match. I must say it's a pain looking through all the covers and making sure I ordered the right one. To make it crystal clear, you need the Amazon Kindle fire HD7 2013 model (not the 2012). To make it stand as it does in the picture, I noticed you can't put it all the way in the slot as you would think, or it will fall over. Just stick it in slightly and it's fine. Not really intuitive, but it works.

I have bought a lot of wine from this shop. If you are well educated in wine reviews it is a good shop. You will often find that wines are at a reasonable price. HOWEVER Be careful. Don't blindly follow the reviews. I sent the shop an email last week telling them of a clear mistake in how the advertise one of the wines. They did not reply to my email and they did not correct the mistake. I recommend that all customers do their own research before buying wine. Don't believe everything you read!

【Funny but Inappropriate..】 At first I thought this movie may seem like a very cute movie to watch, but then as we got further into it, I found that the movie asked me to suspend my disbelief too much. To start off, when Stacy goes to exit the girls room she climbs over the trelis, if the viewer notices the trelis doesn't move when Stacy steps on it, but when the girls step on it, it becomes the most unstable force in the entire world. It shakes it breaks, and then lies in shambles throughout the rest of the movie with no clear indication on why it happened. A bunch of girls deciding to spend the evening in one girl's home for a night of fun and adventure is a common theme for a Hollywood motion picture. The result would be this movie, Sleepover, a film about girls being girls and trying to outdo each other in the quest for popularity and acceptance. "Sleepover" is a comedy film that follows two packs of girls on a scavenger hunt around their local city in a battle for the right to eat lunch next to a water fountain as opposed to eating lunch next to trash dumpsters. Performances in this movie are typical. No one stands out as particularly interesting or compelling. But I will admit, Alexa Vega has a good chance at teen movie stardom if she plays her cards correctly. A good first start would be to demand better scripts than the one used in "Sleepover". This movie is predictable to the max, and it follows exactly the same type of formula we have all seen a thousand times before. In a nutshell, its "same old, same old" from "Sleepover", a movie that is more about teen rivalry and competition than about girls having a sleepover. Im going to be nice and give this movie two stars only because the romance scenes are cute and because I think it will be very enjoyable to those who have young teenagers in the house. But for everyone else, its a movie to avoid, with nothing really memorable and very little originality.***

【Very SEXY And Feminine!!!!】 PINKPANTHER is one of the fragrances that I enjoy wearing often. It is a wonderful scent with just the right touch of florals and citrus. I would have to say that this fragrance is definitely in my Top 5 list!!!! this comes in an elegant clear bottle that has a pink bottom and pink shade on the pull off cap. This gives the fragrance the appearance of being the color PINK but it is actually clear. This is a spray and is easily applied by spritzing the pump bottle wherever you with to apply Pink. You will find the signature name Pink on the front of the bottle. The fragrance of Pink is not strong and over powerful. I know a lot of people who do not like floral scents because they are so strong. This one has enough fragrance to linger and last just about all day and yet not enough to be too over powerful.+++ The unique blend of florals and citrus include: artemesia, neroli flower, peony, freesia, bergamot, mandarin, violet leaves, juniper berry and muguet. I find that there is just enough citrus fragrance in Pink to tone down the florals which gives it an soft yet somewhat fresh and exotic scent. I luv the scent of PinkPanther!! I fell in love with it when I tested it in the store. It was a nice and fresh scent that I knew I would enjoy. I do not like heavy scents and tend to lean toward those with fresh, clean and crisp scents with some citrus fragrance in them also. This one has become one of my favorites that I will keep on hand at all times. Great fragrance, light, fresh, SEXY!!★★★★★

【Hot Models, Cool Clothes, Jeff Beck & Jimmy Page on Guitars, Antonioni】 Michelangelo Antonioni's 1966 masterpiece Blow-Up influenced many subsequent filmmakers, including most obviously Francis Ford Coppola (The Conversation) and Brian de Palma (Blow Out). Like all of Antonioni's work, this movie will appeal most to filmgoers with a predilection for art films, but it's also as close as Antonioni would ever get to making a film with mass appeal in mind.** There are uncertainties and alternative interpretations, with this film. Nobody, least of all I, can definitively explain what each nuance of this film signifies. The broad thematic contours are clear enough, however. Meaning that while with the use of visual evidence you can find one reality, using audible evidence you can find a totally different yet also correct reality. This is a film about metaphysical and philosophical issues, not a simple thriller. Viewers who approach the film as primarily a thriller are bound to be disappointed. There is no final resolution to the mystery element. We can't be certain that a murder occurred, much less why. The core issue of this film is the nature of reality and the various kinds of representations of reality that comprise individual perception, social consensus, and art. The protagonist is sure he saw a murder through the montage of the photographs but the viewers never see it, all the viewers see are imprecise images. At the end of the film, a tennis match takes place that is invisible to both, the protagonist and the viewers, becomes distinctively audible to the viewers. Ultimate reality is something unknowable. Blow-Up won the Best Picture award from the National Society of Film Critics. The British Film Institute ranks it as the 60th best British film all-time. This is a thrilling, intelligent, and influential film that every film lover should see sooner or later and, preferably, both sooner and later.★★★★★

【Romina Power was 16!!】 Romina Power as Justine is lovely innocense to look at, and I enjoyed what otherwise is a trite sadistic movie just to see her charms.** "Justine" (let's just call it that instead of putting de Sade's name in front of it; I'm feeling lazy tonight) stars Romina Power as the titular character, a young, naive waif cast out into the decadent world of 18th century France. It all starts when Justine and her dissolute sister Juliette (Maria Rohm) must fend for themselves after being thrown out of an orphanage. The two head straight for Paris and a local harridan hotel where Juliette fits right in as the main attraction. Justine doesn't make the cut, however, and heads out into the world to find her own niche.** What follows is a series of slightly bawdy and often boring romps involving all levels of French society. Even as prolific as Jess Franco was, a 60 day schedule from filming to release is unlikely. She had to be 16. This is another piece of cult erotica that the true Franco fan will enjoy. Justine first obtains employment at a small inn thanks to the grizzled owner Du Harpin (Akim Tamiroff!) only to find herself back on the street after rebuffing the overtures of a seedy nobleman. She then ends up in prison where she meets a tough, streetwise goon by the name of Madame Dusbois (Mercedes McCambridge!!) who has a date with the executioner she's planning on skipping. In between the woman's enormously hammy cackling, we learn that she needs Justine's help to escape her fate. They get away, and Justine falls in briefly with Dusbois's gang of ugly French thugs. The soundtrack is clear and live despite being mono. The voices seem dubbed at times - but I assume that's a fault with the original movie. The short (20min) review with the director & producer - is one of the best I've seen. The movie itself is interesting at most times, with some boring (not too many) scenes. The movie is quite intriguing - although not to everybody's taste..

【Hypnotic and Shocking】 Tideland is a fascinating read that stops just short of being good enough to be considered a classic. Even if at first it seems just another updated version of Alice In Wonderland / The Wizard of Oz / The Neverending Story etc. - a child creating a fantasy world as a way of dealing with difficulties of life and a metaphor for growing up - it becomes abundantly clear very early on that Jeliza-Rose's story is a very different one from those of Alice and Dorothy. Tideland is definitely a novel for adults, and Cullin gives the reader the awful truth straight and headlong. That is the novel's strength but also its weakness. All too often Cullin seems to be bent on shocking the reader in any manner available to him, and the hopelessness of Jeliza-Rose's life is so obvious and overwhelming, the novel soon becomes unbearably depressing. Jeliza-Rose's optimism fails to convince; her situation is too impossible, and she is obviously far too disturbed and distorted to be taken seriously as a narrator. Which brings me to the biggest problem I had with the novel - even though I got past all the others, this kept bugging me. Cullin seems not entirely certain of the manner and style in which he narrates his story. The story is told in the past tense - in a way that hints at a long period of time passed between the event and the telling. However, Jeliza-Rose as a narrator seems sometimes aware of her situation and sometimes not; sometimes the story is told from the point of view of a little girl in a disturbed state of mind, sometimes that of a grown woman looking back at her own harsh childhood. Read his recent A SLIGHT TRICK OF THE MIND for a sedate and thoughtful treatment of old age, a contrast to TIDELAND in many engrossing way. Tideland is darkly funny, creative, and an interesting read. And even though I do not recommend Tideland as highly as his first two efforts, Cullin is a great talent to be reckoned with. Watch out.!!!!

【Kill Bill Meets The Matrix With Disastrous Results..】 One thing that the opening action scene makes very clear is that the violence is quick, casual and completely over the top. The body count is up to two digits within five minutes. In a surprise attack on a blood bank, five laboratory workers are killed, the five intruders are killed, and then one cop shoots another cop. Thus the movie starts, and the voice over does not do much to help you understand it. Those attackers are hemophages; people infected with HGV, and there is a war going on to eradicate them all. Still don’t get why the cop was shot? Then you have some hint of an inkling of what's wrong with the movie already… Anyway, Violet refuses to let Six be killed, thinking that he was the antidote to cure her from the virus. By trying to protect the boy, she had angered her kind who wanted the boy dead. Now, both the government and the hemophages are after her. Another reason why she wants to protect Six so badly is probably because she has lost a child when she was infected. Finally, when the government captures the boy, Violet is determined to seek Daxus (Nick Chinlund), the man who claims to be the father of Six, but at the same time, wants the boy dead. During the battles, you will see slow-paced scenes, with Violet spinning around, shooting down her enemies. Its surprising that when thousands of bullets are fired towards her, she could easily escape but then she couldnt escape one bullet after the boy died. Basically, she lost her will to live. If you’re expecting some blood fest here, you'll be disappointed. After each battle, I shook my head in disappointment. Not only that the story is hard to follow, there are a lot of missing pieces that you could never find out even at the end of the movie. There's nothing more I could say. If you have planned to watch this movie, I wish you best of luck. I managed to survive the whole movie but two of my friends fell asleep.★★☆☆☆

【Catch the Fever and learn what Horror's all about】 I saw many films from the Lions Gate films lately, "Cabin Fever" was the one of best I have seen. If you thought "Se7en" was scary, wait 'til you see this one. It was short and fast. It had fast changing scenes, it was whole bloodbath wash out all the way through. God help me if it was not as scary as "Se7en" and I think it was better scarier. "Cabin Fever" was full of gore, which far plentiful for the color, but always streaked with red. It was whether it does so cleverly. The film was co-written and directed by Eli Roth ("Hostel" 2005). It was also co-written by Randy Pearl Stein. It was an aggressive strain of flesh-eating virus. So I wonder if the killing was supernatural by bogeyman or serial murder. It ran out of steam in between scenes, it managed to recover somehow as a whole. It was refreshing to see. It intent to be a low budget and self aware of the director's own art and creativity. It was influential, convincing, and effective. For his creativeness, and for his expression, it was significant, critical, and dark joke. Horror fans, despite the film's intentional humor, will be delighted to witness the excessive amounts of blood and gore. A talented team of at least four special effects artists (Howard Berger, Garrett Immel, Robert Kurtzman, Gregory Nicotero) do a good job at pouring on the blood and letting it flow. Through several interviews and behind-the-scenes first looks, it is clear that Eli Roth had a blast making the film, including his cameo role as the token stoner who stumbles onto the campground of our five friends. Is the film original? Of course not. Roth wanted an 80s movie for the new millennium-generation of moviegoers and for the fans of true gritty horror, such as myself. I have issues with the humor, and it probably could have been a little scarier, but in the end it works. Kudos to Eli Roth, whose horror-movie making career is hopefully just getting started.*****

【Chronicling the career of a promising chanteuse.】 First of all, I have to thank Kristina for hosting such an interesting write/off. I found it a real challenge to find a group I knew enough about that hadn't recorded anything since 19XX. I have to admit I dug for this one. I was going to go with The Bangles and got halfway through the review when I found out they had a song on the one of the Austin Powers movie soundtracks. I was amazed at how many albums older bands put out that nobody has ever heard of. Finally, I had a brainstorm. I loved this song when it was out as well and Im surprised I completely forgot it. It was so syrupy and the production is very typical of the time. Yet, when i hear it I get the rare ability to remember what it felt like to be in eighth grade again. At the risk of sounding like a credit card commercial, I feel that is priceless. The rest of the album is nothing special and pretty much fits into the endless danceable pop that was such a "sensation" in the eighties. I didn't recognize any of the titles and only recognized some of the songs when I heard them. Honestly, the rest are hard to distinguish from each other. "I Surrender" is a dance song that never really takes off and doesn't have nearly the contagious sound "Love Child" has. Its clear that these ladies overall couldn't keep up with the competition. "Expose" was in their heyday around this time and most of the songs on this album didn't have the impact of their material. Better producers would have made all the difference in the world. NOt to mention Gioia had a phenomenal voice, adding to the success of Expose. Even though most of the songs on here are fluffy and forgettable I would probably pick it up used for real cheap. The two major hits off this album bring back losts of great memories for me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone though unless they happen to have a soft spot for it like I do.

【Bizarre, Horrific, and Oddly Beautiful】 This is a review of the DVD version of this product. I guess I'd better do a "reviewer bias" statement first. Im not one of those people who gets night sweats thinking about the "dangers of nuclear weapons". As it happens I find the subject quite stimulating for a number of reasons. "Beyond" is the first of a series of 5 films produced by Ake Sandgren's VCE Productions on the subject of nuclear weapons testing. VCE has taken stock footage from the nuclear tests of the 50's and early 60's and with a good bit of cleaning and restoration produced a lively and entertaining piece of historical film-making. The UPSHOT GRABLE nuclear cannon test is particularly nifty. The tone as set by narrater William Shatner (yeah, him!) thankfully avoids both PBS-style hysteria and arch "retro" campiness. I guess what really makes this film stand out is the images. In particular the REDWING footage is striking. Look for a quick shot of Marilyn Monroe in a security film. Hey, Monroe, Shatner, and CASTLE BRAVO all on one DVD--What more do you want? Actually there is one thing... However, the coda consisting of the first Chinese nuclear test is a hoot. Every Maoist clichn the book. Brave soldiers leaping for joy, vast parades in the Glorious Chairman's honor (along with reaction shots showing Mao in all his corpulent splendor), steadfast cavalrymen (with horses equipped with protective masks and goggles!), and firemen rushing toward Zero with hoses in hand--I guess they were going to put the bomb out. Even Bad Chinese Ballet!!! The music is also quite well done. **** Another tiny minus. If you don't have an interest in the topic you may find mushroom clouds and exploding houses, etc. stacked together dull. Also, if you're one of the night sweaters I mentioned above, you might want to steer clear. A rare and rewarding film.!!

【Godard's "Lesser" Masterpiece】 When watching any film by Godard, you'll immediately understand why he was called the enfant terrible of the French New Wave, his sharp attacks and recriminations on the film world and political world are by now world famous. Yet to see the films now, close to forty years on, is a treat to the discriminating film viewer, who is immensely tired of the banal color-by-numbers storytelling that Hollywood has been churning out with more and more frequency, should no douobt be enthralled by what Godard has to show and tell. Jean Luc Godard's follow-up to his Nouvelle Vague landmark and debut feature, BREATHLESS, LES PETIT SOLDAT was originally banned in France because of its frank depiction of the Algerian War, which was tearing France apart at the time of the film's completion. Finally, this film has almost no sense of humor---but it does have one (viz. the scene where one of the guys going to kill Anna Karina slips and falls in his haste)---and it is less playful than other Godard movies. It doesn't have that self-mocking self-awareness--well, not so blatantly at least--that almost all of his other works have, and here it is entirely appropriate. This is a film that explores the tangle between commitment and un-freedom, and the main character, who does not commit anything but love and a murder, at last feels his freedom preserved, through his, I guess, "ideological neutrality." But in the end, these are analyses, and the movie stands or falls as a whole. The simple fact is that I found it immensely powerful as whole; and others did not. I wrote this only to make clear that it is possible that you will find it powerful on a visceral level. It is definitely worth a shot.!! Go for this jewel and powerful film, and remember. Godard's bitter gaze has been somehow his personal trademark all along his career. Fascinating!!

【Never Say Die】 After being ambushed and left for dead, an ex-Special Forces soldier (Night Siege's Frank Zagarino) is called back into action when a general's beautiful daughter is kidnapped.!! Now he must come face to face with his old nemesis, a renegade commander, and confront a terrifying death cult in this hard-hitting action thriller.+++ Because this one is a real howler. Our boy Frank Zagarino is an ex-military man who is presumed dead and now working as a boat repairman in some swampy little backwater town. He is inadvertently roped into action again when his old whack-job commander (played by the guy who was John Bly in "Brisco County Jr."), who now heads a truly stupid looking cult of Heaven's Gate imitators, takes a state official's daughter hostage and terrorizes the town. Will Frank be able to save the day? Will he ever change facial expressions? Who invented liquid soap and why? (Yes, no, and dunno.) As an action movie, this fails on all accounts. It is painfully obvious when the punches and kicks are being faked (which is pretty much all the time), and the plot is just plain silly. In addition, there are numerous goofs: Frank gets soaked to the skin and then is miraculously dry in the very next scene; motorboats perform feats that no regular motorboats would ever be capable of (particularly not when loaded down with people and weapons!); and Frank once again defies all logic by running from one end of the town to the other faster than the cops can drive!!!! Not to mention the fact that he seems to be wearing a scoopneck while performing all of these death-defying stunts... As stated above, if you love making fun of bad movies 'MST3K'-style, then crack open a few beers, invite some friends over, and stick this puppy in. You'll be snortin' suds out your nose sometime before the end credits roll, I promise you. Everyone else, steer clear and just rent "Die Hard" again.

【The Soundtrack of the Future..】 Red Planet reminds me a little of Pitch Black, which was also released last year. They're both strong sci-fi movies with mod-notch efxs set on a planet with characters trying to get from A to B while being chased by something and avoiding the physical dangers of the planet they're on. Red Planet wasn't perfect, but in the right mindset turned out to be a gr8 movie that just gets better every time I think about what I watched, which has been a very rare phenomenon with the overall movies I've seen this year, not to mention sci-fi films period. "The Tower That Ate People" by British rock-singing favorite, Peter Gabriel, is a great song. I've not met a person yet who doesn't fall in love with this song. The lyrics are great, the beat is strong, and you find yourself wanting to get up and dance when you hear it. It's just so much different than anything you normally hear, it feels like it is a song from the future. Emma Shaplin's singing is absolutely beautiful. Her voice is clear and rings out like a bell. Not only do her vocals make her songs superb, but the violins and other instruments play exquisitely. The songs were orchestrated beautifully and I think the songs are incredible. Sting's "A Thousand Years" excels. It goes with the movie so well. Sting really did a gr8 job with this song. Its beat, lyrics, and tune is one of Sting's best. Different Gear's re-make of The Police's "When the World is Running Down" is also and amazing piece of work. They've really done a great job. Some re-makes lose the original song's quality and tune, but not this re-make. Graeme Revell did a great job with composing this soundtrack. All the songs are absolutely incredible. Such diversity makes this CD perfect for anyone. Even the songs I have not discussed are amazing and deserve all the rave I've given the other mentioned above. This is a soundtrack sure to last far into the future.*****

【Funny Girl Grows To Be A Lady】 I own Funny Girl and Funny Lady!! Im a big Barbra Streisand fan!!☆☆☆☆☆ I have 14 of her movies. I watched and bought the movies because I really like them alot.+++ Funny Girl is about Fanny growing up and trying to get a break in the theater and ends up meeting the love of her life Nick or so she thinks, they end up getting married. She is a commedian who tries to act funny on stage during a number with Ziegfeld Follies and has the whole place in tears laughing so hard all but Mr Ziegfeld!! But then he makes her do the number the same way from that night on. And she also finds out that married life isn't what she thought it was going to be. Well they end up getting a divorce. Then in Funny Lady she is still with the show that is on the road and she ends up with Billy (James Caan) who is trying to make his way up in show business. They don't make a real good couple, but it is alittle different than funny girl, but just as good... And in the end she makes it big in show business. I think that whoever likes these movies will enjoy: Hello Dolly, On A Clear Day you can see forever, and the Way we Were...*** Barbara Streisand received an oscar for her portrayal of comedienne Fanny Brice in one of the most popular movie musicals ever made, Funny Girl. Fanny Brice gets her first break in show business at Keeney's Music Hall as she debuts as a roller skating chorus girl and gets hired as a comedienne. Barbra sings many songs in this movie, but her most famous from the movie is Don't Rain On My Parade, and People. I think that most women will enjoy these movies, some men will like them too.. They are good clean movies and they make gr8 family movies if you can get the kids to watch them sense there isn't blood and guts and guns in these movies.★★★★★ After you have watched this movie, make sure you see Babs grow into Funny Lady. They are both terrific and should be seen by all !!!!

【Classic Mancini】 TWO FOR THE ROAD is one of the best films about marriage.+++++ Two For The Road is a sadly neglected film. Boasting fine direction, a wittily cynical script and two great star performances, it also features one of Henry Mancini's finest scores. The title song is easily the equal of Moon River or Charade. And yet both the film and the music have been unjustly overlooked. But this CD can at least put Mancini's music back into circulation. Mancini film albums were never taken directly from the soundtrack. Instead, he preferred to go into the studio and do a fresh version of the score, using the same arrangements but without the breaks and edits that film music is usually subjected to. All the usual Mancini ingredients are here - a bit of jazz, romantic ballads, a quirky theme or two to underline the film's comic moments. And all with that kind of Hollywood-esque French flavour that helped to make Mancini's scores for Charade and A Shot In The Dark so delightful. On a recent drive through France from Calais to Languedoc, I found Two For The Road's title track endlessly popping into my imagination. The movie follows a married couple, Mark and Joanna, through several years of their marriage by cutting between different times at which they took the same road trip through Europe. The film can be technically commended for its temporal design and editing. The jumps through time are perfectly cut together and give the audience a clear (if segmented) view of the decline of the marriage. The film, although containing some very funny moments, seriously deals with the issues of marriage and materialism, while at the same time striking a romantic note. Were it for no other reason than Audrey Hepburn's insatiable charm this movie would be worthwhile. But add to that Mancini's beautiful score and Donen's brilliant direction and this movie becomes an important addition to any movie lover's video collection.★★★★★

【A Killer Soundtrack!!!!】 This movie has an ecclectic soundtrack which is a compilation of classic Henry Mancini songs mixed with U.N.K.L.E.tracks. For anyone recently lucky enough to skip those awful summer movies now showing (like "The Fast And The Furious" or that one with "Fish" in the title: you know, the one with John Travolta looking like a rodent went to the bathroom on his chin) and lucky enough to chance upon the British crime drama "Sexy Beast" you'll be doubly pleased to find its soundtrack is a worthwhile piece of art all its own. What a gr8 concept and makes for great listening when in your PMS manic deppresion moods. But...It is laced with movie clip audio. Like Pulp Fiction and many other incredible unique soundtracks this is one of them....sucks huh? Get it anyway. Its still good tunes.★★★★★ The Ben Kingsley crime-thriller "Sexy Beast" is among 2001's best films and it features one of the finest movie soundtracks in recent years. Classic cuts from Dean Martin and Henry Mancini intermingle with vibrant techno mixes by UNKLE for an eclectic collection reminiscent of last year's "Sopranos" soundtrack -- with snatches of movie dialogue thrown in for good measure. The film plays with the bright sun and hefty drizzle of two entirely different atmospheres (Spain and London) as does the soundtrack, balancing the clear blue lines of Dean Martin-esque cool with the red, blazing, claustrophobic intensity of clubs, hip-hop, and Big Beats. It's a stunning combination. The moods are sly and surprising as much as they feel warm and familiar, much like the twisting genres of "Sexy Beast" the film. Do yourself a favor. See the film. Then do something rare afterward -- own a soundtrack worth owning. Well worth having.!!!! Watch the movie, then throw a party afterwards with this CD blowin' through your speaker.*****

【Quiet Desperation: Vincent Gallo's THE BROWN BUNNY】 The mystery of what happened with Daisy permeates the film as Clay hops from woman to woman, all strangers, with their own floral title (Lily, Rose, and Violet). Clay manages to initiate contact and even kiss these girls before disappearing from their lives forever, no apologies and definitely not fulfilling that hole that dwells within him since Daisy left. The pathos of the movie start and nearly end there, this is a not very subtle exploration of moving on after the loss of your whole world. The scenes are so sporadic, and so unapologetically emotional (even enhanced by the seeming lack of emotion through the lack of action), that I'm sure few but the arthouse audience will connect with the picture at all. But that is where the major flaw in the movie lies. While Gallo can dazzle as he showed in Buffalo 66, he also has the ability to give the downer story a happy ending. And he did this in his first film, setting perhaps an unacceptable precedent for him to change from that path. While the film may best be remembered for its pornographic scene, in which Clay makes contact with Daisy again and receives a very real session of oral sex, that unobstructed sexual release fades quickly in my memory as it is immediately followed with a brutal comedown that explains everything you've seen before. A man living with his ghosts for life, that is the clear modern man, stripped of his macho bravado (and surely Clay could have some, he is a professional motorcycle racer, no?) results in a sensitive man, walking with his open wounds. It is, in my opinion, one of the most touching and painful movies to appear on the scene. Like I said, i did enjoy the film. NOTHING like Buffalo 66, so if that is what you're hoping to see in this, don't waste your time or money because you will be disappointed. It is nice to see another side of him, and it really does have Gallo written all over it, just in a different way.!!

【I Love Pascale Bussieres and This is Why!!】 Natalie (Emmanuelle Beart) and Louise (Pascale Bussieres) were childhood friends who had a devastating falling out. Ten years later, they meet by chance, and rekindle their friendship. The terms of their relationship have changed greatly, however--Natalie is a successful actress, and Louise worships the ground she walks on. This sets the two on a destructive, co-dependent course that leads to tragedy. Director Catherine Corsini examines the complex interactions of women and the overlapping passion and rivalry that exist in female friendships. This is a great movie for Bussieres' fans out there.!! She delivered a superb performance and the movie is thoroughly engaging. In "La Repetition" Nathalie (Emmanuelle Beart) and Louise (Pascale Bussieres) are inseparable childhood friends who both grow up with the intention of becoming actresses.*** A squabble leads to a serious division between them, and over time, they lose touch. Years later, Nathalie is now a famous actress in a relationship with a young stage director, In spite of the fact they've had no contact for some time, Nathalie and Louise basically pick up their relationship where they left off. Soon, Louise ditches her husband, and with a flimsy excuse packs a suitcase and joins Nathalie on tour. There's a clear sense that the relationship between Nathalie and Louise has unhealthy overtones. Laden with desire with one another, there's also a strong element of jealousy from Louise towards Nathalie--after all, Nathalie achieved her career goal--while Louise didn't. And the jealousy brings a destructive element to the fore. The dark side of female relationships isn't explored as much as hinted at. Consequently, this bland film tantalizes the viewer but leaves a slightly unsatisfied feeling when the credits roll. In French with English subtitles--displacedhuman... You will want to watch it more than once!!★★★★★

【You Go Girl--Get Your Groove On!!】 I want to start off by saying that I really think this is a wonderful CD. Although it is not very realistic I think that it is what some women would dream of. +++ The problem with most bands that have been around forever is that they eventually begin to stink. They put out cd after cd way beyoind the point that they should have stopped. For fans of the music, its becomes hard to determine when they should simply not even bother buying the next album. Usually the cds go down hill slowly. A bad song on one cd, then have is bad, then at least one song is good, and so on. Luckily, for UB40, they didn't put their fans through this torment. Instead, they came out with one of their best cd, Rat in the Kitchen, then proceeded to come out with some of the worst garbage in the world. After Rat in the Kitchen, they seemed to be influenced by Kenny G and the Back Street Boys. They shed their reggae roots and produced some of the worst watered down pop, gospel, something that anyone has ever seen. Like I said, Rat in the Kitchen is the clear breaking point, If you stopped buying after getting this record, count yourself lucky. Not only did you not have to be embarrassed for UB40, but you stopped with probably their best effort. Rat in the Kitchen features UB40's unique spin on reggae that puts you in the raggae mood, yet at the same time sounds nothing like it... This cd can be played over and over again in the car, at work, for a beach party, for a night party, for just about everything. The lyrics are exceptional and the beat keeps you going, even on the slower songs. Some of my favorites on this CD are All I Want to Do and Rat in the Kitchen.. If you liked songs like Red, Red Wine when they first came out, you will probably love this cd. If you were turned onto Red, Red Wine in its seconds coming and liked their stuff then, you probably will hate this cd.★★★★★

【Pretty, Floral, not too Sweet!!】 I read this product takes the florals from the original xxxxx for a limited edition scent. I have a very hard time finding a perfume I like, and this one is my current pick. I normally wear Lancome Miracle and Pure Tiffany - so I was looking for something in that family. This one is a nice floral, but not too sweet or overpowering. When I got the glass bottle in its box, I opened it up and spritzed the air to test it. I don't know if it was the box it came in, or the alcohol content, but it smelled awful. Now, for my little secret: In searching online for good fragrance oils, I stumbled upon a little website that lists your favorite designer perfumes and says that they will replicate any one on the list (and even some not listed), but with the choice not to add any alcohol. No alcohol. Since I am in no way a fan of florals, VIOLET was a perfect match. Above all other things, VIOLET is briskly woody. It's also rather potent and should be used in moderation (as with all scents containing patchouli). So, even though the bottle is rather small it will last for a long time. It's a little strong at first (it's hard to spray a light amount without a lot of effort), but overall it's very nice. The sprayer could be made better.***** Smells nice, floral, pretty, limited edition scent - different from the other... The shape of the bottle is sort of an abstract star shape in a clear, pastel, blue color. The design is very different and interesting and the spray works fine. This bottle, however, does not feature a lid. Additionally, the bottle does not stand up!! I put all of my scents in a basket and this kind of bugs me! Overall, the only words I can use to describe the scent are unique, sweet and strong. It's a sexy scent, but it's a fun scent. Not serious, not something I would wear to work or to a meeting. This perfume is great for a fun night out, special occasion or a romantic evening.★★★★★

【Finally someone is saying it well !!】 I saw the light...and my bellybutton!! Out of all of the photography books that I have or seen, this one is definitely in my top five favorites.***** Probably a somehwat high ISO, the images are still very low grain and are very clear with nice colors and tones. Very nice compositians, nice lighting, sexy poses,... all very tasteful.!! Leaving aside the excellent photography for a minute, the production quality of this book is amazing. With the current price + the rakuten discounting it's an absolute steal and puts to shame the poor quality garbage many other publishing houses are printing and selling at similar prices. This isn't a cheap book, either in price or in quality, and deserves a big thumbs up for producing this wonderful work.!! Now onto the photography itself... there is a level of intimacy captured here that is something many other photographers strive and usually fail to achieve. The work, technically, is beyond excellent. And yet, it somehow stays simple. There are hordes of photographers shooting color nudes nowadays that do it super "clean", fast & loose, trying to "keep it real" and make art out of the simplicity of the girl's body and her surroundings. For the most part, they fail (in my opinion). What Mr. Yamagishi has done here is take that very concept, but actually succeed: there are no elaborate props (aside from some pretty rooms), no extravagant lighting set ups, no "special effects" done to the photos in Photoshop afterward. It's just him, his considerable talent, his camera, a beautiful girl, and her genuine magnetism that pulls you into his simple compositions, and envelopes you with intimacy. THIS is the feel and passion all these other photographers are trying to accomplish with their simple "real girl, in the real world" approach. Most images are partial nude, some with latex gloves, high heels, elegant jewelry,... a lot of accessories, etc. I definitely recommend this one.!!

【Strong heroine who doesn't use heroin】 I picked this up expecting a quick fun sort of trashy read and that is EXACTLY what I got. I had read Devil wears Prada and liked it enough to read this one. I do think her first one was better. My guilty pleasure is celebrity gossip sites such as page six and the superficial. This book was like a more in depth longer version of a story you might read on page six but with much more too it - like what really happened and some romance thrown in. If you are looking for a book with some depth and meaning that could win awards...go check out the New York Times best of list..this will not be on it.+++ I have to admit that Lauren Weisberger really impressed me with this novel. Clearly she knows that a certain chicklit formula works with a charming heroine, who has to choose between two worthy suitors all the while trying to hold a steady and challenging job. Weisberger provides some background information on Bette's love life and her career choices, but the other characters come in suddenly and its hard to know which ones you should care about and which characters are just for filler. Bette is thrown into an entirely different world in which lunch consists of a "small baggie of carrots, water and vodka", and fitting in means maxing out your credit cards at Saks and pretending to be the girlfriend of a celebrity who ends up being very gay. Obviously this is a shallow world and Weisberger captures all of its quirks perfectly.!! Unfortunately this novel wont age very well as it is packed with name dropping and celebrity details that will go out of style in the next few months. Despite her chronic use of popular name brands and the lack of a clear villain, Everyone Worth Knowing is an entertaining sophomore novel from Weisberger who has some growing to do in writing abilities, but nevertheless makes New York city sparkle in the pages of her books.

【Fantastic SFX, extremely tense, good plot with plenty of surprises, wry humour.】 The Matrix Trilogy is complex, to fully understand all angles of movie you must play the video game and clear it. This franchise is easily the most complex a movie can get. In this movie people must remember that Smith was brought into the real world very early in reloaded. We find out what happened to Niobe and Ghost (a key point). We also see that now Neo has power outside the matrix. The SFX is once again mind blowing and setting new fighting standards for other movies to follow. If you like movies with the power of good, love and human determination to overcome impossible odds than you will truly enjoy this movie. Remember Zion (the alamo). Consider me a sucker, or consider me what ever you want, but both The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions have blown me away.+++ They may not be the best when compared to the first movie, but they were still damn entertaining. Reloaded was an interesting movie experience, but Revolutions was twice as better, even coming close to the original. Reloaded and Revolutions were a big gamble for Larry and Andy, but thankfully there is a greater mass of fans that have enjoyed both films, and Im proud to say that Im one of them. The acting in the Matrix was pretty good, Keanu Reeves isn’t the best of actors which does show, but he fits the part of Neo so well that it isn’t really a issue. Laurence Fishbourne does an excellent job as the part of Morpheus, and although Trinity doesnt have as many scenes as one might expect she does a good job. The special effects are up to par, and the music is interesting. I would recommend this movie as long as you have watched the first two. You will probably not enjoy this without the information from the other 2 movies. Im going to refrain from mentioning much of the plot so I don't ruin the movie experience for others.*****

【Jim Carrey and Kate Winslett】 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind opens up with fairly typical romantic comedy fare. Joel Barish (Jim Carey) stands dejectedly at a train platform on Valentine's Day of 2004, when he decides, on a whim, to skip work of the day and head off to the beach. They both have a feeling that they've met somewhere before, and they exchange flirtatious pleasantries for a few moments. Before long, it becomes clear how well Joel and Clementine complement one another. Joel is the sensible anchor to Clementine's buoyant extroversion, and she if the free spirit that can lift him from the dour mundanity of his everyday life.*** For the first ten of fifteen minutes, the movie unfolds like a cute piece of romantic comedy fluff set on autopilot. But of course, knowing that this is a Charlie Kaufman script, it's not long before things start to get a little weird. As soon as we're done watching the blossoming relationship between Joel and Clementine, we watch Joel driving through the rain with tears streaming down his cheeks, lamenting his loss of Clementine and the fact that she's no longer acknowledging him when they bump into one another. Joel stops to visit some of his friends in search of sympathy, and he recounts the details of his first meeting with Clementine. Oddly enough, the story he tells has nothing to do beach day that we saw at the beginning of the film. In an indignant fit of pained betrayal, Joel storms over to Lacuna Inc., the company that performs these memory procedures, and demands to have Clementine removed from his mind. As for me, I'll be telling everyone not to miss out. Nevertheless, part of me wishes I could have my memory of watching the movie erased. Not because the memories are unpleasant. Far from it. Rather, I want the chance to see the movie for the first time once again, so I can watch all of the surprises unfold before me like the pages of a pop-up book.!!!!

【Harry's Best To Date, GET THE SPECIAL EDITION !!】 The MAIN reason it's only 4.5 stars is that the music doesn't stand as well on its own as it did alongside the movie. I only buy soundtrack albums that stand on their own, and that's what I thought this would be. I was struck by several moments in the film where the music really stood out and struck me as beautiful. When I buy a soundtrack, I always think it's odd to have the score separated into tracks because a real score should flow as one continuous piece of music that changes, almost like a symphony. But with the Narnia music, I find for the first time that the track separations are appropriate. This music simply doesn't flow perfectly together as one unit, and listening to the CD without the movie playing along makes that very clear. My most favorite song of them all is "Can't Take It In." And my favorite instrumental pieces would have to be "Lucy Meets Mr. Tumnus" (Tumnus is my absolute favorite character in the entire film; for a faun, he's pretty cute!) and "A Narnian Lullaby." The music is very haunting (in a good way, that is), heart-warming, thrilling, and even uplifting. You can really see the sequences happening before your eyes as you're listening to it. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who's got an ear for music.!!!! I don't want just SOME of the music in the movie, I want it all!! I'm sure they will follow suit and put out a second "extended" edition like Titanic, Gladiator, Braveheart, Dances with Wolves, and others. But I wish they would do it the first time. Otherwise... I LOVE this music! :-)
